It has been just two days since Triumph, the iconic British motorcycle brand made its debut in Nepal, and the excitement in the 400cc segment is already unprecedented.

The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, the first models from the collaboration between Triumph Motorcycles and Indian manufacturing powerhouse Bajaj Auto, have generated significant buzz at the NADA Auto Show 2024. Their impressive blend of performance, style, and affordability has already struck a chord with consumers.

The Triumph Speed 400 is available in Nepal for Rs 6.39 lakh, while the Scrambler 400X is priced at Rs 6.89 lakh. This competitive pricing is driving a surge in bookings, with sales numbers quickly nearing a sell-out. Such a strong debut underscores why the affordable premium motorcycle segment is thriving in Nepal, with Triumph at the forefront.

Both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are powered by a 398cc single-cylinder engine delivering 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip & assist clutch. They offer a 16,000km service interval and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.

The Speed 400, with a 790mm seat height and 170kg weight, features 43mm upside-down forks, mono-shock rear suspension, and roadster geometry. The Scrambler 400X, designed for off-road, has an 835mm seat height and weighs 179kg. It offers a longer wheelbase, longer suspension travel, a 19-inch front wheel, and wider handlebars.

Both models include Ride-by-wire throttle, Traction Control, ABS, a dual-format instrument panel, all-LED lighting, and anti-theft features.
